Area Clubs

There are a lot of gem and mineral clubs in the U.S. The following is a list of the more Internet-active clubs in the Pacific Northwest.

• Spokane Rock Rollers - Spokane, WA. The Rock Rollers promote popular interest and education in lapidary, the craft of working, forming and finishing stone, minerals and gemstones. They are a very active club.
• OlympicRocks.com and the Clallam County Gem & Mineral Society (CCGMS), Sequim WA. They bill themselves as "A web site dedicated to everything about rockhounding & lapidary.
• Wenatchee Rock Club and The Ginkgo Mineral Society, Wenatchee, WA.
• Panorama Gem & Mineral Club - Arden, WA.
• Hells Canyon Gem Club, Inc. - Lewiston, ID Promotes the rockhound hobby by providing opportunities for the collection, working, and displaying of gems and minerals, as well as educational programs in the field of geology through field trips, educational programs, training classes, and an annual Gem and Mineral Show.
• Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club, Inc. - Named after Lake allula, commemorating the newly-built McNary Dam. The purpose of the club is to promote activities of mutual interest for collecting and displaying of gems and minerals.
